That is devastating news for a team that seemed to have finally put it all together. First time I've heard of a college player getting tagged for this in awhile

The guy reportedly put on 45lbs of muscle in less than a year. Yea, that's normal.

Go Gophers!!

New video of Grier has surfaced:

And here is Jimbo Fisher finding out during a press conference.

Fast forward to about 30:45:

I'm sure the coach is absolutely shocked, as well (that some NCAA official went rogue, not that the kid was taking the steroids that someone on his staff supplied).

And to put a cherry on this story they travel to a night game at Death Valley. The Florida Defense is stout. LSU has this kid Leonard Fournette who can run the ball. This will be the game of the day. Sorry Michigan State.

Lmao...first thing I thought of too. "It's not that hard to put on 35 pounds of muscle in one summer IF you hit the weights real hard."

This has really blown out of proportion. PED's (especially in the NCAA) is very vague subject. Could have been the most harmless supplement that a lot of other college athletes are taking.

No way a supplement buying over the counter at a GNC can help gain 45lbs of muscle under a year. Feel bad for the kid, but he is owning up to his mistake. I really do want to know what he took.

Not sure the rules but if this were the case couldn't the NCAA have just suspended him for a game or two?

Brutal break for Florida. Hardly anyone is actually getting flagged for PED's, but their starting quarterback gets popped? Wow. Obviously a case of extremely bad luck or extremely poor timing regarding his cycling.

If it's only a game or two, people will keep taking the supplements. A year might make some people stop and think before they put something into their body. Better to make an example in college with a harsh penalty than let players sneak by until the next level.
