Will Enfield, 43, listen if Minnesota and Southern California show serious interest in luring him away? Yahoo Sports already reported that the Trojans were targeting Enfield. Gophers athletics director Norwood Teague and associate AD Mike Ellis are linked to Enfield because he was part of their Villa 7 program that helps assistant coaches find head coaching jobs.

FGCU AD Ken Kavanaugh told reporters on Saturday that “I have not heard a word” of anyone making contact with Enfield. But ADs aren’t always contacted until the process is much further along.

“Whatever happens is going to happen, and we’re not going to worry about things until things get in front of us,” Kavanaugh said. “We’re not worried about this stuff.”

Things seem very quiet down in Fort Meyers. I wonder if NT has made contact with Enfield and did not get a quick thanks, but no thanks. Could very well be that no news from here is good news.

Enfield either lands at USC or the U. Wifey likes warm weather and hollywood but raising a family in LA sucks. easier path to success in the pAC. Fball school only in a terrible ghetto within a few minutes drive to lakers/clippers/kings/dodgers diversions. SC bball is a non event. Most kids want out of the constant choppers and gangland murder scene. Or He takes the challenge of being in an elite league? It's either Enfield or Marshall.

Yeah some are. I think this song was popular back when Doc Don was in his late 40's.

Really? The U should hire a coach that hasn't even coached 70 games as a college head coach? No one would've of known who Andy Enfield was 2 weeks ago. His team beat a Georgetown team that has choked in the NCAA tourney in the last 6 years. I hate the fact that Andy Enfield's name is even being mentioned as a possible candidate.
 

Much better than some unproven assistant IMHO.

I'd hate to have a high IQ guy with a great pedigree and was a successful assistant.
