It’s been quite a few years since the Huskers have beaten Minnesota, but those teams were different. This one finally has something that is going to seal the deal.

This team doesn’t quit. Last week, with the Huskers down late in the 4th quarter and driving, I kept waiting for the shoe to drop. For the big mistake that would end the game and leave us sad once again. But they were able to seal the deal and win the game. That isn’t something that we’ve seen in quite awhile.

This Husker team is ready to continue Wintober and get the win on Friday!

Cornnation's team doesn't quit! I mean the coach might be. But at least the team hasn't so far!

My concern isn't with Nebraska. They are not the Nebraska of old. My concern is with a Minnesota team that doesn't have an identity. Minnesota seems average to a bit below average in every facet of the game. The kids are still trying to figure it out, but the season is moving along and it's time to grow up and assert yourself as a team that means business. If last week's team shows up, Friday's game will be very disappointing for Gophers fans. But, I am hopeful this is the week that the team finds its mojo.
