An All-Big Ten Honorable Mention last season, Anthony Smith is far and away Minnesota's most imposing threat to rush the passer. He had sick sacks in 2024 and has followed that up with 8.5 sacks through eight games, having recorded four in the last three games. At 6-foot-6 and 285 pounds, Smith has the speed and strength to turn the corner on offensive tackles. While he hasn't forced a fumble this season, he forced three in 2023 and 2024 combined, which could be a factor if the conditions are wet on Friday.
