There wasn't much to break down during or after the PSU game we watched a team thump a team from start to finish, meeting expectations.

You are missing two things: the PSU game was home so hundreds of in game posts won't happen because many are at the game and not at home. The other item is the time of the game. PSU game was Sat afternoon, so people watch the game and do different activities. Tonight many of us watch the game and then either go to bed or jump online. This board was a zoo after IU win.

This is now THREE YEARS in a row where the Gophers have had far too many horrible losses and very, very few surprising wins. Do you think this board looks different than other boards? Tubby wouldn't have survived last season with the heat that would have been on in him from many fanbases around the country. The "Minnesota Nice" thing has kept things from getting ugly.

As stated above, on home games, a lot of people are at the game. Also, we were expected to beat Penn State. A more fair comparison would be the Indiana game, then you can see how the fans react when we are on the rights side of an upset versus the wrong side. There was not much to say about PSU, that game went exactly how it should have.
