There are 9 new teams in this week’s Field of 68 projection: Abilene Christian (Southland auto bid); Arkansas (at-large); Colgate (Patriot auto bid); LSU (at-large); Mount Saint Mary’s (NEC auto bid); North Texas (Conference USA auto bid); Oklahoma State (at-large); UMBC (America East auto bid); and Wright State (Horizon auto bid).
One other note regarding this week’s projection. For the first time I’m considering Oklahoma State eligible for the tournament. Until we hear otherwise, going forward I will assume Ok State's appeal of their postseason ban will not be ruled on before the tournament starts, meaning the Cowboys would be eligible for the tournament.
An * denotes the leader in a multiple-bid conference or -- in the event of a standings tie -- the team with the best NET ranking (noted in parentheses).
