Coming in Monday's College Hoops Summit?

Dribbles & Scribbles
-- Darryn Peterson missed the last 17 minutes of Kansas' highly anticipated game vs. BYU for. … cramping? Wow, those must have been SOME KIND of cramps! Usually, cramps are simply a hydrate and have the athletic trainer rub out the cramps kind of a thing & then you're back out on the court. That's apparently not the case with Peterson, the projected #1 or #2 pick in the next NBA Draft. I'm guessing Bill Self already is looking toward to next season when he'll be calling the shots again on the KU sidelines.

-- Teams moving dangerously close to the NCAA Tournament bubble that may surprise you, or they're already there: #29 Indiana (15-7), #32 Saint Mary's (18-4), #36 Georgia (16-6), #44 UCLA (15-7), and #45 San Diego State (14-6).

-- Book it. New Mexico 98, Santa Clara 71 played Dec. 6 in Albuquerque could be one of the most impactful bubble results on Selection Sunday.

Deep Thoughts, by Buzz Studley
Ohio State is the quintessential bubble team, like vanilla ice cream. Nothing in particular stands out about them and nothing about them is particularly offensive. The Buckeyes simply exist and scream NCAA Tournament (or College Basketball Crown) mediocrity.

Win and move on the next game.. KC was bad. I left early and listened to the Gophers almost make the complete comeback…
