A good number of walk-on freshmen, which is nice. If you can hit on 3 or 4 of those guys, it really helps the depth of the program.
I don't think hitting on 3 or 4 guys will help anyone.
Traye Simmons and Jack Simmons both wore #15 last season. The rule was changed to allow players to have the same numbers if the play primarily on opposite sides of the ball. Didn't we have same numbers last year? I'm trying to remember...the number 15 seems to stick out in my mind. I also believe that the rule about not being on the field at the same time still applies as well, but I could be wrong about that. On the Walk on subject i was surprised to see Phil Norman for Duluth as a OL, I thought i heard that he was going to looked at as a DT....oh well, just glad to see that he decided to go ahead to try and make it as a Gopher.
Tell that to Nebraska. They used to have a great walk-on program. Don't know if they still do. A strong walk-on program gives you an additional boost to your program without using scholarships.
and went to the point of the original post. works either way.Haha, everyone missed the hilarity of KoolAid's post, making this all doubly hilarious.
But I think these are available

There seems to be a movement towards retiring jerseys instead of numbers. Eventually, the Yankees are going to have to start doing that as well, probably after I'm dead and burned.Only numbers to be retired are 10, 15, 54 and 72. 15 is now worn in honor of Sandy Stephens though.
