I did not hear him last week and know that he got ripped for not being prepared.

I thought he was good this morning. He commented that if things don't get going this year that the move will need to be made after the PSU/OSU games. Last time we fired the coach too late and many guys had already taken jobs. Being a BCS conference school they would need to get on the market before the Iowa game.

He also thinks that Kiffin will keep his foot on the throttle this week for MN turning him down for the job four years ago.

I think the same thing, however disappointing it may be to see.

Kiffin doesn't even need a grudge to keep the throttle on. They have no bowl game to play. The only thing they can do to garner attention and prove their program is run up the score as much as possible on their opponent every week. Anything less than 70-0 and I'll be surprised.

I think if the don't beat USC, UW, PSU or OSU then they'll make a change to start November and let an interim coach complete the season. If they win a couple of those games then they'll let him finish the season and evaluate the entire work.

This is a very tough call for the UofM. They possibly have a lame duck coach, AD, and president. Do they waste money to bring in a new coach when the AD will probably retire soon after the president leaves. I've heard that Maturi's wife does not want him to continue.

I might be ok with letting Brewster coach it out until the new Pres and AD are in place and see where he is. Not sure I want Maturi making the next hire.
