First good looks at these two young RBs. Thoughts on how they looked? Looks like we have some nice depth with Taylor, Turner and Davis something we’ve lacked since Bucky and Ky Thomas left. I thought Fame and Grant looked good too.

Both looked great, with Turner likely sticking around and Taylor heading to the draft, I unfortunately think one of Ijeboi and Washington will leave, being 3rd string and all, hope not as they both look like pieces.

I think Ijeboi is our future at RB. He reminds me a little of Thomas Tapeh with his running style. Definitely a North-South running attack, power, good pace and solid hands.

It was cool to see the depth and it’s an obvious nod that RB recruiting will still be solid for us going forward. I just can’t beat the feeling that all we did though is allow some other team needing an RB to scout ours and come up with a number.

The scout also knows that the opposing team being played against was so bad that 59 points were on the board in the first half. Now, if the young kids are getting playing time against Big Ten opponents and putting on a show...

Third string to a senior as a redshirt freshman wouldn’t be a bad spot for Washington.
