Excellent story shows how little Penn State cares about hoops

Pathetic. Pretty easy to see now why Ed DeChellis, a Penn State graduate, left for Navy shortly after leading the Nitts to a NCAA bid.

A little closer to home...who was at the Iowa game when the clock was adjusted down from 6.1 seconds to 3.5 at the end of the game? Do you remember the official explanation for the adjustment? Well, neither do I because there wasn't one! How many times have you sat at the Barn watching the refs' backsides while they are reviewing a play on monitor, while what we see as paying customers on the big, new million-dollar scoreboard which we, in part, paid for with the premium seating increases, is the kiss-cam and kids dancing in the stands. All very nice, but at home, on TV, folks are getting replays and analysis of what is happening. Just sayin'.

How much does Minnesota care about hoops? Penn State(!) has been over .500 in conference play more recently than the Gophers (2008-09 Penn State was 10-8).

Crazy story, and I feel for those fans that drove to see an 0-4 squad...only to be told of a "sell out".
