Time and time again I see our players in position to make a play and they don't. I would have an easier time accepting the on field result if we just flat didn't have the athletes to compete. Repeatedly we have players in position to make a play but they just don't execute. Failure to wrap up, dropping balls, overthrows, etc, add in the mental errors, and you have a losing football team. I think in the end, it's a lack of motivation and focus, and that comes down to coaching. I don't think it's X's and O's, More than schemes, we need someone who can get the kids to execute and make plays. We need a proven winner, that knows how to get that gameday edge that is the difference between finding a way to win, and losing.
