Mitch Sherman: Minnesota pushes Ohio State into the fourth quarter.

Last week, I picked Minnesota and Ohio State to lose. They both won in statement fashion – by a combined 49 points -- so take this for what it’s worth. The Golden Gophers are unbeaten in six games at TCF Bank Stadium and are playing with a pronounced home-field advantage this week as temperatures dip into the low-20s for the morning kickoff on Senior Day in the Twin Cities. A little more snow might be just the trick to rattle J.T. Barrett, the Buckeyes’ freshman quarterback out of Texas. Of course, Barrett looked fairly unflappable in the cold at Michigan State last week as Ohio State led by double digits to enter the final 15 minutes. It won’t be as comfortable against Minnesota, which will turn this game into a street fight, though I like the Buckeyes to avoid the upset.

Go Gophers!!

How is predicting a team to be in the game in the 4th quarter a "bold prediction"? Plus he picked us to lose last week? He should be so embarrassed that he quits his job.

Does that mean we can storm the field at the end of the 3rd if we are winning?

Gentlemen, gentlemen. Let's not get mad at a guy who's actually saying Minnesota has the ability to stay with tOSU for most of the game. All the other pundits I've heard so far say tOSU will dispense of Gophers with ease. This guy thinks we have a chance. Little does he know that Minnesota is destined to win this battle. Can't blame a guy for not understanding destiny!!

I guess it's a moral victory if they aren't beating us by 50 the end of the 3rd quarter. Quite the 'Bold' prediction and safe. If we lose- then he was correct. If we win, he can say he predicted a 'streetfight' and not surprised.
