per the article:

Traditional broadcast

The centerpiece of ESPN's coverage will be its normal game broadcast on its flagship channel. Brent Musburger will have the play-by-play call, Kirk Herbstreit will provide color analysis, and Heather Cox and Tom Rinaldi are set to report from the sidelines. It's the fifth year in a row Musburger and Herbstreit have teamed up to call the championship game.
Other options

ESPN2 and ESPNU will air the game featuring live analysis from panels of expert guests. "BCS Title Talk" is set for ESPN2, featuring celebrities, coaches and other figures familiar with Florida State and Auburn. On ESPNU, "BCS Film Room" will have analysts break down the X's and O's with multiple camera angles as the game plays out. This presentation should appeal to fans who consider themselves to be much more in tune to the game than the average viewer.

Go Gophers!!

Pretty cool. Would love to watch the ESPN Classic option with a projector.

I can remember one experiment in the NFL from my childhood where they broadcast a game with NO ANNOUNCERS. They tried to set up a broadcast to allow the viewer to feel like they were at the game, with access to the PA announcer and little more. Apparently the experience didn't have the desired effect on the 19" tube TV's which were the norm at the time because the idea wasn't repeated if my memory is correct.

Little more than a footnote and I can't even remember the teams involved (I know it wasn't a Viking game, anyway) but for some reason I can always remember the attempt to shake up the usual broadcast.

I'd be tuned into ESPN Classic if I got it in HD.

Edit: Come to think of it, I might be able to stream it in HD through my Roku ... sweet.

Maybe "The Ocho" will have the referee cam??

Which channel will focus on close-ups of the coach and the players parents?

You can have zebra cam, I'll take cheerleader cam

I meant the camera would be physically on the zebra, looking at the action...but I hear ya. BTW isn't "pretty girl camera angle" also known as the Brent Musburger feed?

Jets/Dolphins, and it was glorious.

I'd love the homer calls overlaid on the TV broadcast, always wished that would work better from home but the delays don't work out.

I accidentally hit the "SAP" (Spanish language) button on my remote one time for an NFL game and since there was no spanish for that game it just played the ambient sounds. It was great.

classic sounds the worst and most boring, i really like listening to Herbstreit and Musburger

I think this is a super cool idea, and I will definitely be checking out all the different broadcasts. The one which sounds most appealing to me would be the one on ESPNU, with all the different camera angles which you never see in a traditional broadcast, as in the traditional broadcast you nearly exclusively simply see the direct play and its result, IE a run play, that is what the camera is focused on, the running back, but what you don't see is what's happening on the peripheries and downfield from the play, the WR's blocking and etc etc. To me that's some of the most interesting stuff taking place on the field, and this particular broadcast sounds like it could almost be like watching the film the coaches watch every week, film covering every and all aspects of the field, and I think that would be fricken sweet.

Had nothing to do with it. It was the Play-by-Play Man Local 1145 that killed the whole thing.

Bumping as a reminder for everyone tonight.

All these channels, yet I get none of them. No game for me tonight.

I really wish I got ESPN Classic in HD. I'm digging the commentator free version, but the standard def is a deal breaker even after a few minutes.
