Nice for those who're interested in that sort of thing, but this kind of stuff rings hollow until the Big Ten wins it all again. 11 years and counting. The Pac 10 is the only other power conference without a national title during that time span. Getting to the Final Four hasn't been the Big Ten's problem. Winning the whole enchilda, has.

Pretty much bears out what I've thought, the Big Ten was the best top to bottom this year. That's gonna change a lot next year, I'm thinking.

I wouldn't say it rings hallow, but I'm definitely with you on that I wanna see a Big Ten team finally get it done again, been waaaaay too long it feels. Why not us? LOL

That's really impressive -- Big Ten still the best even after NW lost Coble, Purdue lost Hummel, we lost Nolen and Joseph, and MSU generally fell apart for a variety of reasons.

Funny reading the comments on espn.com.... All the east coasters whining about how the big ten gets special treatment in both football and basketball. The big ten definitely gets some love but they are the clear number 2 in football (in terms of espn love behind the SEC) and number 3 in basketball (big east and acc)
