ESPN releases their Top 150 for 2013

From the B1G states:

OH: 7 (high: #21)
PA: 7 (high: #23)
IL: 7 (high: #42)
MI: 3 (high: #37)
IN: 2 (high: #46)
WI: 0
MN: 0
IA: 0
NE: 0

Basically, in 2013, to get top-level talent, the B1G will have to go outside their borders.

Also, per ESPN, these top-150 players are "considering" Minnesota at this time:

#42 Laquon Treadwell, WR
#46 Jaylon Smith, LB
#72 Ethan Pocic, OL
#88 Elijah Daniel, DE
#130 Marquez North, WR

Hoke is killing it with recruiting. They signed a kid whose first name is Taco! I wonder if he has a sibling named Chalupa?

ESPN recruiting always is biased towards the SEC. It's hard to take their list very seriously when it deviates so much from the other recruiting services. Besides, until the summer camp circuit is completed these rankings don't really hold a lot of water yet. After they have done their camp evaluations you will see a lot of changes in all of these lists.

University of Michigan

The University of Michigan has 11 verbals on the top 150 list already.

Agreed, the lists will change quite a bit come August. However, for comparison, from Rivals current top 100:

OH: 6 (high: #7)
IL: 4 (high: #18)
PA: 3 (high: #22)
MI: 2 (high: #16)
IN: 1 (high: #34)
WI: 0
MN: 0
IA: 0
NE: 0

Scout top 100:
OH: 5 (high: #34)
IL: 4 (high: #12)
PA: 3 (high: #3)
IN: 2 (high: #16)
MI: 2 (high: #28)
WI: 0
MN: 0
IA: 0
NE: 0

I'm liking that the Gophers seem to be making some headway in North Carolina and Illinois. Each staff has had there recruiting grounds (Mason: New Jersey and Florida, Brewster: Texas). I think NC and IL are states that Kill can get some of the top players, unlike Florida, Alabama, Georgia, California, Ohio, etc.
