During the Syracuse v Georgetown game tonight, John Saunders has three times promoted tomorrow's ESPN's lineup of college basketball games.

Each time he said Illinois vs Michigan at 8 PM tomorrow night.

One time is a mistake. 2 times is an embarrassment. 3 times is just wrong. He probably has a cheat sheet that's incorrect but he sees the graphic in front of him on a monitor and he has a producer's voice in his ear. This isn't some sort of conspiracy but come on man!

Anybody else hear/see it?

I saw it once. Didn't know he'd done it multiple times. Flipped to ESPN2, they got it right. The way ESPN embarrasses MN is ridiculous. How many times before we can file a lawsuit for slander? This can't be much worse than spilling coffee on your lap.

They had it wrong in his teleprompter. I happened to have the captions on and looked up when I heard him say that. Sure enough, it even said it there. Pathetic.

I think it embarasses ESPN more so than MN.

Do people really think ESPN is out to get MN? Or is this some long running GH joke that I don't know about? I am born and raised in Minnesota and am proud of it. I follow the Gophers, Twins, Wolves and Vikings as well as countless other MN small college teams so I get that we want respect and recognition but it would be odd for ESPN to do this on purpose like some people suggest. Just because a score post late or the gamecast doesn't work does not mean they are against us. They made a mistake, they make lots of them.

I think its pretty minor and we will all be fine.

I hope the Gophers play like Michigan has been playing lately. If we do, we're going to get a W.
