Gophers still alive: Minnesota isn't entirely out of the Big Ten West race, but a 34-32 comeback victory against Rutgers did little to inspire much confidence that the Gophers can seriously threaten to win the division. Minnesota (5-2, 2-2) can earn a bowl bid with a victory Saturday at Illinois. Still, the Gophers have much to improve on, particularly in the passing game. Rodney Smith and Shannon Brooks have powered a strong ground game, but the Gophers' six touchdown passes represent the fewest by any Big Ten team this season.

Go Gophers!!

I mean duh. Gotta take care of the 2 we should win. Lots can happen outside of our games right now but looking at the schedules right now, we could be in a great spot if we win our next 2.

Minnesota @ Illinois
Minnesota vs Purdue

NW @ OSU
NW vs WI

Nebraska @ WI
Nebraska @ OSU

WI vs Nebraska
WI @ NW

Iowa bye
Iowa @ PSU

So one of NW and WI will pick up a loss and one of Nebraska and WI will pick up a loss. Can really vault ourselves up if we win the next 2 and make November real fun.

Oh Yeah?
