North Carolina is nearly unanimous. History could repeat itself, in December 1980 the Gophers beat Dean Smith's Tar Heels in a non-conf Tourney (something called the Winston Tire Classic in LA). The following season they went all the way. Last season the Gophers beat Roy Williams' Tar Heels in Puerto Rico, perhaps Roy will cut down the nets for a 3rd time in 8 seasons.
The Big 10 lands 3 in the Top 25: Ohio St # 3, Wisconsin # 14 & Michigan #18. Others receiving votes: Michigan State & Purdue. Dan Monson's Long Beach State got 2 more votes than Tubby's Gophers. Good for him.
