T7. Minnesota (6-2, 3-2): The Gophers have won three consecutive games, the latest a 40-17 drubbing of Illinois. Minnesota scored 17 points off turnovers and ran for five touchdowns. Next week against Purdue presents an opportunity for Minnesota to surpass last season's victory total. All in all, it's been a solid first full season with Tracy Claeys in charge, though the Gophers will be tested in their final three games against Nebraska, Northwestern and Wisconsin.
