BTN's Top Performers:

Minnesota RB David Cobb. He was a workhorse vs. Michigan, carrying 32 times for 183 yards to help the Gophers win the Little Brown Jug for just the second time in 24 years. When will this guy finally get his due as one of the Big Ten’s top backs? He often gets overlooked amid the likes of Wisconsin’s Melvin Gordon and Nebraska’s Ameer Abdullah.

The guy was incredible all day. Rarely taken down by the first guy. Made 2 yd losses into gains regularly. Without him it could've been a very different game. He was on another level
 

As I watched Cobb run through a top ten rush defense yesterday, I couldn't help but wonder where he'll go in the draft. Obviously, we still have a lot of season left, but if he keeps running this way, he could be an early pick. I guess a lot will depend on his "stats" at the combine and such, but he looks like a legit NFL caliber back.
 


I could see him move up to a 4th round pick or so if he continues to do well and has a good combine.
