Minnesota DB Briean Boddy-Calhoun: An interception and a forced fumble courtesy of Boddy-Calhoun helped the Gophers keep pace with Ohio State during the first half. The redshirt junior returned Barrett’s one mistake 56 yards to set up Minnesota’s first touchdown. His fumbled robbed the Buckeyes of a touchdowns shortly after.

Go Gophers!!

BBC has been great all year. Will probably make an All-Conference team or at least honorable mention. Excited about our cornerbacks next year.

Agree with this. On defense right now, DB/Safety is definitely our deepest position.

Becoming a big BBC fan! EM31 has been my guy, but hard not to love BBC. It will be great to have both again next year.

Wait, BBC is only a redshirt junior?! That's huge news, I totally thought he was a senior haha.

I'm a little worried about our safeties after next year. McGhee is the only underclassmen on scholarship right now. We're just very thin. I'm guessing we will go after a JUCO or two in the next few years.

He's been money. As you say in a later entry, we'll be scrambling a bit at safety next year and I don't think our safeties have been as solid as our CBs. It's one position set where it would lack a big-time playmaker. I'm sure that's coming at some point.

I thought BBC was going to be something special at the beginning of last year then he got injured. I was excited to see how he came back from injury and he has not disappointed. You can always count on him to make a play.
