per ESPN:

The Big Ten fined Michigan $10,000 and publicly reprimanded coach Jim Harbaugh on Monday for his critical comments about the officiating in Saturday's 30-27 overtime loss at Ohio State.

The Big Ten said in a statement released Monday afternoon that Harbaugh's comments violated a league rule that states the conference "expects all contests involving a member institution to be conducted without compromise to any fundamental element of sportsmanship. Such fundamental elements include integrity of competition, civility toward all, and respect, particularly toward opponents and officials."

"The Big Ten has made a decision," Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel said. "We also consider this matter concluded and will have no further comment."

The last Big Ten football coach to earn a fine for criticizing officials was Nebraska's Bo Pelini in 2013.

Go Gophers!!

I'm sure a booster gave Harbaugh some money.

Urban Meyer should be like Trump and just start calling him "Whiny Jim."

But of course nothing will happen to the officials who clearly decided the outcome. Sad

10,000 is pocket change for them, who cares? Will the refs who made the bad call be reviewed? Probably not. Could Jimmy have handled it differently? Probably. But after a 4 hour emotional game what did you expect would happen if you stuck a microphone in his face?

The refs deserve to get roasted. They make terrible calls all year and they can't even get calls right in the review booth. Numerous examples of poor spots, calls and no calls of targeting upheld, pass interference calls when the pass is 20 yards over the receivers head, and on and on. I think the review officials are told to support the on field crew at all cost. Don't want to hurt their fragile phsyci.

And no apparent consequences for those bad officials/officiating. Make me want to puke and definitely lose interest in the game. Lots of smoke probably means there is a fire somewhere and it's going to get exposed and cause some damage if not contained....

Speight's 3 critical turnovers had a lot more to do with deciding the outcome than the officials calls/non-calls. Without 1 or 2 of those turnovers, Michigan wins somewhat comfortably. (note, I don't like criticizing Speight because he was clearly playing hurt)

Michigan doing what it does best, whine when they lose. Remember, Michigan never loses fair & square, they only get beat when the officials aren't on their side.
