Go Gophers!!

we've taken step 1 of 6 in getting to a bowl this year, let's keep laying em down brick by brick

What is Dienhart smoking? How can he project the Squakeyes to make a bowl? Even if they manage to beat Iowa St (in Ames) and Western Michigan at home they'll need to get three Big-10 victories! They have no home games in which they'll be favored and the only game that they might be favored on the road ( at his time) is against the Boilermakers. How do these guys get hired, let alone paid, to perform expert analysis?

BTN's Tom Dienhart: Iowa enters Week 2 bowl projections

Heart of Dallas Bowl, Jan. 1 Big Ten vs. C-USA Minnesota vs. Middle Tennessee

I would think Michigan getting the BCS at-large bid would mean that they don't win the Legends. Whoever wins the Legends and loses to Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship game, if Ohio State does end up in the Rose Bowl, will likely be set back by that extra loss like Michigan State was in 2011. Michigan got the BCS bid at second place in the Legends with a head to head loss to Michigan State, but Michigan was 10-2 before bowl selection compared to Michigan State's 10-3, which apparently made Michigan a more deserving team.

Go Gophers!!

So 5 teams from the Legends and three from the little sister Leaders.

This is just ridiculously early in the season to be posting about possible Bowls. Let the season play itself out, for God's sake.

While I agree that it is early to make Bowl predictions, it is fun to read about them over a good cold beer.

Look at it this way: the title said : "Big Ten bowl projections: Week 1". How is anyone to know that the thread is probably about Big Ten bow projections based on week 1 results? You would have to be a genius to figure that out!

And consider how upset some people are at the existence of threads that don't interest them. Even if they somehow manage to fight the mouse and avoid opening the thread, the mere existence of the thread fills them with a boiling rage. It is best if we not have any threads that someone might not be interested in. If we delete all the threads, we can avoid such disturbances.

Name me one thing you don't enjoy over a good cold beer?

Now you know why I love Oregon.

I have been invited to San Antonio to live close to a brother. I have been invited to FAR South Texas to live with a brother. I have been invited to Quad Cities Iowa to live with a sister and her hubby. I have been invited to Phoenix to live with daughter and family. I think I would prefer Oregon....He is my kind of guy.
