Go Gophers!!

WHAT! No Nebraska?
If this happens, there will be turmoil in Lincoln (And elsewhere)

What!! No Nebraska.

Maybe both the AD and coach will go at the end (or sooner) of the season.

Can we just get rid of a cold weather outdoor baseball stadium bowl game, please?
It's not like it's a 'iconic' Yankee stadium, it's basically holding a bowl game at Target Field..

Yeah.....it's not like we don't play enough cold weather games as it is. I'm sure the team would love it.

The only positives are that it's the only game on at the time (I believe), nationally televised on a local station (ABC), and most people don't have work or have school the day after Christmas. Plus....it doesn't hurt to get some exposure in the New York area.

Screw NY...THAT PLACE SUCKS AND WILL BE A NIGHTMARE TO NAVIGATE AROUND !!

If we beat Nebraska this week Husker fans will be in full-on melt-down mode. When's the last time Nebraska was 2-5??

They won't fire a coach after his first season and he won't resign and leave millions. If he loses to Minnesota next week, the chance for postseason is all but over. He should probably boot the season and go with a youth movement. Year 1 is the only time in the near future where he's going to get the rope to do this kind of thing.

It has to be one of the worst places for a bowl assignment. At least Ford Field (Quick Lane Bowl) is indoors and you can stay very close to it.

Maybe going to NY will motivate us to make sure we never go back?

Yes but its Detroit. New York city is much more of a thrill for say the players then Detroit. But I could be wrong.

Unquestionably true. That would be a factor to give the Pin Stripe a big edge.

If I was a player, I'd much rather play in a dome that serves as an NFL stadium, rather than outside in the freezing cold, in a baseball stadium.

But that's just me.

At this point, I can't see Cal dropping to the FF Bowl. I think Oregon is more logical with the year they are having.

New York or Detroit? Many reasons to prefer New York. I'm going with pastrami, preferably at Katz's as a primary reason.
