How many coordinators has a redshirt senior on our roster been through? It might not be pretty this year with another transition in schemes, but if this week has taught us anything, it is that we have stability in the program. Miami is a decent team and the victory was not a cupcake. Coaches Claeys and Limegrover did an admirable job keeping the team focused and moving forward after a humiliating loss and seeing their coach collapse on the sideline. When was the last time we had a staff that could have pulled that off? Any great organization is great beyond its leader.

Good points...
Although it may take a little longer to show what stability can really do for us, this glimpse was encouraging for our program.

There is a reason why Kill surrounded himself with his staff and why they have stayed with him so long. I truly wish him the best of health going forward...

I believe that Coach Horton did a pretty good job last year.

Said that, Coach Kill's staff has been instrumental in their past success. This past week was a great example of that. Lets hope that Coach Kill can stay healthy so we can benefit from a stable staff down the road versus starting all over again.

Good point and I agree. I do think for some players it might have been a relief for the change last year and Horton broke some tension by ending the speculation around the program. I see this instance as different and more of a potential crisis, especially coming off losing to a lousy team in the home opener.
