I have never been more embarrassed...Coach Kill collapses on the sideline having a seizure and all some people can do is bitch about how bad the Gophers are? Those of you doing this are pathetic...get a freaking life!!! It's bad enough you jump off the band wagon as quick as you did...but to sit and bitch about a loss when the head coach is being rushed to the hospital is really sad...your lives must be just so devoid of any meaning that you associate your happiness with how a group of 18-22 student-athletes perform...do us all a favor and just go away!
 



I don't disagree, although I think its fair to say that some people posted complaints before Kill collaspsed

I hope that's the case. If not, shameful display. Perspective people...perspective.
 


I'm still positive with Coach Kill and the players. It will get better. We knew it was going to be tough going. Get well coach.
 

I hope coach gets well no doubt. The gophers laid another typical egg. The game is irrelivant compared to his health. I will say though, it extremely hard being a gopher fan year after year and being tortured.

Every smart-ass thing I think of to respond to this post looks really stupid when I type it out. Long story short, if it is extremely hard to be a Gopher fan pick a different team. The rest of us will move forward.

You've really never been more embarrased than you have been by reading a bunch of anonymous posts on a college football forum? A forum that is by definition in existence only to talk about college football?

Most if not all of these posts are from before it was known what was going on. Also it was a BAD loss and Kill would likely tell that to the team and the team knows it. Its not a lack of concern or decency to be upset at the outcome. One can be dissapointed by one event and be a decent person on the other event at the same time. GROW UP OP
 


Bottom line... We lost to one of the worst college football teams in the nation. That makes us one of the worst college teams in the nation. God bless Jerry Kill and I hope he is ok. This team is not good but I will still have season tickets and tailgate for every game. We will be good someday and us Gopherholer's will all be there to see it! I had a blast today with the fans in C88. Go Gophers!!

Agree with this. The team will grow along with us fans.
 

Just because Kill had personal issues that are serious and deserving of precedence doesn't change the way the team played today, and on a sports-oriented message board chatting about it is fine. We all wish Kill the best and hope he has a swift and successful recovery, but to put a moratorium on everything else is absurd. I bet the coaches and players are discussing and thinking about how the game unfolded too.

Hopefully the morality police will let us know when it is once again OK to discuss the football game.
 

Come on people, this is a throwaway season with a first-year coach. This was a bad game. The worst I've seen as a Gopher fan for many years, not because the Gophers lost to a bad team but because their coach collapsed on the sidelines and could have died. Don't fret about the record this season. If the team improves and stays competitive then that's all we can ask for in this new era of Gopher football.
