Ed Cooley and Mike Rice

Since we seem to be scraping for candidates, what are thoughts on Ed Cooley and Mike Rice from the Big East. I'd hope we're still a step up from Providence and Rutgers.

I was high on Rice a couple years ago, but he hasn't gotten it off the ground.

Cooley's had a nice trajectory at both Fairfield and Providence. But he's a Providence native, so it could be one of those 'he never wants to leave' situations.

Rice was suspended this year for a while. Don't think he is too attractive right now.
