Adam Weber will be on Sports Wrap next Sunday, July 25 (Channel 5 at 10:45 p.m.). Watch or DVR if you can.

Blindside?

Doogie, do you have anyone who can block from his blindside? I would hate to see Adam injured in the preseason.

If he can handle the blitzing and unnecessary roughness from the fans, he should be fine when the season starts. :D

Thanks Doogie- thanks for the heads-up will make sure I watch.

Doogie No Mention of Lindsey?

Saw it on KSTP, that Ms. Whelan is going to be on also.

Definitely... she is very personable... we always enjoy having her on... but thought I would keep it to football here on the football board.

Nice interview. Good composure by Weber. If he can maintain the same composure on the field, we'll be fine. I can't wait for the season to start so we can silence some of the critics. Or course I'll be back no matter how many games this team wins.

I like Weber, he sure seems like a good kid. This is nitpicking, but I don't think he should have said "all of our tough games are at home" when talking about the schedule.

For the most part this year all of their tougher games are at home. Not everone is going to answer each question perfectly in an interview. If team opposing teams use that quote then they are desperate.

Weber all class.

Adam Weber is a class act all the way. A person only had to watch his appearance last night on Channel 5's Sports Wrap with Joe Schmit to be convinced of that. Intelligent, articulate, determined, hard working, straightforward with his answers, no excuses for last year, a real leader in every sense of the word. From his comments, it is clear that he is doing everything within his power to get himself and his teammates ready for the upcoming football season.

I like Adam Weber, he represents the very best qualities that Minnesota and this nation have to offer. Whatever Adam Weber decides to do in the future, attorney, businessman, entrepreneur, teaching and coaching, broadcast sports, he will be a big success, there is no question in my mind.

Good luck, Adam, GO GOPHERS!

A healthy contempt for an overrated Wisconsin team? I like it.
