Other than Seantrel Henderson, his tender remains open until he announces his selection during the post season all-star game or on signing day. There are alot of tenders out standing but only five plus Henderson's that are remaining to be filled by the Gophers.

Any guesses as to who the next commit will be? What position(s) remain the focus of the Gophers?

I suspect there'll be a surprise commit or two, someone who was not listed on the scouting reports, or possibly on signing day as Michael Carter was last year.

Hoping for....Onyeali, Ash, Bell, RobDonovan Lewis, Zach Allen and Brock vereen
 

I'm still holding out hope for several local kids (Seantrel Henderson, Beau Allen, Tobi Okuyemi & Roszell Gayden), outside of that, defense would be my choice (maybe Johnathan Hankins, Nduka Onyeali, Richard Ash or Harold Legania). Go get them Brew.

Would rather have bell over either Durham or Bouie very, very easily. Also, check out RobDonovan Lewis's game video and you would want him over Bouie with ease, too. Of course it wouldn't hurt to get those guys, but with limited scholarships now available I think there times has now passed.
 


To me Beau Allen is the statement signing. Other than the occasional 5 star recruit who goes off to the big leagues (Floyd and Henderson) we're working to close the borders. Okuyemi would be nice, but he doesn't have strong ties to the area. Brett Bielema hasn't had much luck here as of late.
 

We don't need a DT though.

Jackio, I'm just saying who I think we'll get. I think Bell will be at TT and Lewis will wait too long and we'll be out of scholly's.

Wide Receiver (1): Louis, Sanders, Durham or Sconiers
Offensive Line (1): Henderson or Gayden
Defensive Tackle (1 or 2): Ash, B Allen, Hankins or Legania
Defensive End (1): Onyeali, Okuyemi or Beckwith
Linebacker (1): Z Allen or Kisseberth (TE)
Defensive Backs (2): Knight, Parker, RD Lewis, Verren, Byrd, Bell, Campbell, Olabode, Easterly or Bouie

Suprise Player: ?????????

If Jabari Price does not end up with us, then I'd like to see both Lewis and Vereen.

Forgot about Sanders, but otherwise we have the same players listed and if we landed four of those main guys I think we would end up with a fantastic recruiting class. Last year we had a great, great class but this years is starting to shape up very nicely.
 




Always need DTs, so I'm hoping for Allen. Ash might be better (but why not both?), but getting the best kids from home is always a great place to start.

Previous posters have mentioned all the names I know. Henderson would be an absolute coup.

Unless we plan on oversigning, we only have room left for three more high schoolers and a JUCO (or a high schooler that graduates in December).

I also believe we have told some of our verbals including lewis to keep their options open so that will open up another scholarship or two also.

Again, the last StarTrib report on Tommy Olson was that he was wide open in his recruitment. Is he solid? Has he ever not been?

I think you can forget about Sconiers and Okuyemi. Probably B. Allen too.

I told you before in the other thread that was a screw up on there part. He has never not been committed to us. He is 100%. He tail-gated during the fall scrimmage....
