I'm fairly sure there is no real stat for team dunks, but I'm fairly certain the Gophers are probably leading the nation in this category.

It is amazing to think what the gophers shooting percentage is if you take out all of the dunks.
I'm fairly sure there is no real stat for team dunks, but I'm fairly certain the Gophers are probably leading the nation in this category.
I've been thinking this all year - I know they keep this stat in the nba. Probably a long shot but it'd be cool to find someone keeping it for college.

So you are agreeing with me that outside of dunking the gophers offense is very limited at this point?

Sorry if that came off bad, my point is that dunks still count and can't just be looked past like that. Sure not everything is going great with this team so maybe the offense is a bit limited.

They really miss a guy who can put them in the offense. Joseph doesn't look like he can, so they are helter skelter when they are facing a pressure D. Hoff can put the team into the offense, but when he is being guarded by someone athletic, he doesn't have the ball handling to be able to do it consistently.
When Nolen comes back (And Joseph can move back to backup PG and 2 guard), I think the offense will explode.
This team is fun to watch even when playing poorly. I have never seen a team get as many dunks.

Looked at this and found the other games as well - my unofficial count has the Gophs with 53 made dunks on the year with a high of 11 vs EKU and a low of 1 vs NDSU.
p.s. trivial stats are great
just speaks to the athleticism and Rose's last point.
