It's a regular former-Gopher haven down there at New Mexico State. McKinley Boston is the AD and Dewayne Walker is the Head Football Coach. I doubt Dunbar will command the same salary there as he did here, but I'm sure he'll enjoy working again after the year of high-paid vacation.

This seems wierd to me. I haven't ever seen a story about an offer. Isn't it normal to wait for a response from the candidate before you go confirm it with media?
I wonder if this offer is somehow tied to his remaining contract with the U. The offer comes from one of the U's friendliest atletic departments. Perhaps it is just an offer because Dunbar has to weigh it against continuing to be paid by the U?
