"As a defensive-minded coach, Randy Shannon needs a quaterback to get it done. Ask Tony Dungy when HE was at Tampa Bay and did not do very well and with Peyton Manning at the Indianapolis Colts!! It is like night and day. Jacory Harris and Stephen Morris BOTH let HIM down in Miami!! The problem with the Miami Hurricanes, there was no offensive line to protect the quarterback and offensive coordinator Mark Whipple was telling Randy Shannon what to DO!! If Shannon gets another opportunity HE needs to get a QUARTERBACK who can WIN games and be HIS own man running the offense. Ask Pete Carroll who is now with the Seattle Seahawks, when HE was at USC and HE ran the offense!!"
