Dryden McKay, Hobey Baker Award winner as top NCAA men's hockey player, banned six months for an anti-doping rule violation

Such a bizarre system....he tests positive, they know the system and the "timeline" and accept the suspension after he's allowed to play the whole year. BS

My favorite part of the article is where they cited noted biochemistry expert (and now suspended goalie) Dryden McKay to establish that the ingested substance was non-performance enhancing, or actually not "directly" performance enhancing.

"The amount was trillionths of a gram, which McKay said provided no direct performance benefit."

Apparently, ESPN saw no reason to try to verify that rather self-serving statement.

To be fair, I do not think he ingested it intentionally. Supplements are not regulated by the FDA, and so you really can't be confident in what is actually in them and in what amounts.

Nothing burger. Move along
