It wouldn't surprise me to see Lindsey leave the program to greener pastures for a starting role at a successful program next year where he will be afforded the elite coaching his talent warrants, the chance of championships he won't find here, and the NIL he deserves. Anyone else thinking the same?

yes, the old way fleck brings in coaches with training wheels on MUST BE OVER NOW

the age old gopher fan move of that if someone is successful they'll only leave

His pool of teams calling is going to be pretty small and your high tier teams are not going to be coming for lindsey who is middle caliber at this point in terms of what he's shown on the field to someone outside the program.

There's a pretty solid handful of guys I'd expect your "top" programs will be after and the rest would be lateral moves at best (Arkansas is really the only risk to me for legacy purposes). Likely Raiola is on the market, add in solid possible transfer targets in guys like Williams (Wash), Heintschel (Pitt), Sorsby (Cinci) and then older guys who I'm sure will portal like Chiles (MSU), Johnson (KSU), and that's not mention any FCS guys or other G5 guys looking to "move up". for a one and done kind of guy to take you over the top, it's not going to be Lindsey, especially when a bunch of the top tier programs already have their guy. Sayin is back at OSU. Everyone is saying Moore is back for Oregon. Simpson is a junior at Bama. Stockton is a junior at Georgia. Reed is a back at AM. Manning back at Texas.

Your throwing shit against a wall to see if it will stick

This has been posited in other threads previously, my friend.

Provincial insecurity ain’t sexy
