Sad to hear, RIP Doug Woog.
 

He was a good man. I used to see him walking up the hill to the South St Paul high school from his house. Always humble and proud to be a Packer. Hats off to a wonderful person.
 

Very sad day. He was unique, fun to listen to on tv and brought a lot to the game from the bench and from the booth.
 

Class act for sure. Woogisms will live on forever. RIP Coach
 


If there was one shot I was allowed to reverse the outcome of....we were sitting at that end; I thought it was in.

Probably 10 or 12 years ago Wooger sat next to us in Mariucci for a period or so; It was fun. Woog's commentary was more like fan commentary than most fan commentary. He did, however, seem to see the whole rink at once.
