Doogie: Group of area coaches "impressed" after meeting Jerry Kill

Kill is a really easy sell for High school coaches. He is not a former big time college player, no NFL ties, just a pure hard working football guy. I am sure many high school coaches see thmesleves in Jerry Kill.
 

Kill went to a NAIA church school in Kansas in Southwestern College. He has built himself up from coaching high school ball both in Missouri and Oklahoma, then D-II ball in both Kansas and Michigan, and then of course D-IAA and D-I in Illinois. He has all the ties you need to succeed in the BIG 10 and has BIG XII region recruiting abilities as well, which I'm sure with Minnesota's location in the BIG 10 is a need much like Iowa and Nebraska.
