Does Big 12 Fate Rest With TCU?

In light of the lack of a championship in the Big 12, are they carrying the weight of the whole conference in this game? Does a Gopher win followed by a strong run by TCU in conference seal the Big 12 out?

I hadn't considered this, but we are going to have a whole region rooting against the Gophers Thursday.
