From down here in Florida where they are wondering about Florida State chances. They think it is between Minn and FSU. They bring up the point that the committee wants to schedule a match up between Father and Son and MN will get the nod.

An interesting thought.

A agree, but Louisville is the last team I would want to play. A guaranteed one and done. I'd rather have a play-in game.

I also doubt Rick would let his team beat us by 60 if that is what you guys are worried about. If we get in we'll probably be one and done anyways so who cares.
 


Louisville is projected to be a 3 seed, so they would have to put the Gophers in as a 14 seed. Either that, or they could pair them up in the same bracket with the Gophers in as an 11 seed, but then the Gophers would have to win a game or two. Not going to happen.
 

The seeding doesn't work out.

Louisville could move up to a #2, but we're stuck in 11-12 land.
 

We cannot possibly be a 15 or 14 seed. That's not how at-large bids work. So the answer is an emphatic no.
