I'm sure we're not burning any additional red-shirts, so what are we left with?

I'm not sure about the health of Durr and Creighton, or if Amoako is even a CB.

Assuming we won't burn Kiondre Thomas's red-shirt. Only other DB's on the roster are Alexander Starks, Calvin Swenson, Brady Wieland, Joey Gorgan, Tony Dipre, and Cooper Dorborwulu. Assuming all are walk-ons and not sure of their status on the team.

That's pretty damn thin against a heavy dose of 5 wide.
 

I think we can all stop breaking down the Bowl Game. Even I won't be picking the Gophers with this secondary.

Well, it is clear now that the PC, U of M just screwed our Football (or BB team) yet again.

No new info, cleared by the County Attorney,

That assumes Durr and Creighton are available and that Amoako can play CB. It also assumes that Mcghee won't get booted for targeting and that nobody in the secondary gets hurt or tired. S I think we might have enough bodies, but we are scary, potentially biblically thin at CB................vs. Mike Leach.
 

Me thinks all player will be reinstated before the game.

I have a feeling there will be legal threats made at the U
from some of these players and parents lead by Lee Hutton
and the U's EOAA office and their attempt to make examples
out of them will end up pooping themselves.

Yeah I'm curious about that. Game is two weeks away.
 

If what I'm hearing is correct, and the EOAA dept is going off the girl in question's
word, despite Henn Cty's findings, and making their decision off that, there will be a
demand for new evidence to be made public within 24 hours. If the U refuses or if they
present no new evidence, there will be a threat of a lawsuit made immediately and by
friday these guys should be off suspension.

I'm in the fog when it comes to lawsuits -- who would they file suit against, UofM or the accuser?

If the administration is treating them unfair do these kids even wanna be here?? I sure the hell wouldn't..
 

This is tyranny.

This is the system turning on itself. These are young minority men, rising from poverty coming to Minnesota for opportunity. We do not play the game of Bull Connor. in Minnesota These young black men were cleared by the DFL County Attorney Mike Freeman, and still harassed to the point where they lost many games.

The PC left and the BLM crowd are coming to a head after the this mess came to a head.

I stand for all women, but the Gopher football players are getting screwed here.

Well... What to you think the law enforcement officer from Detroit. whose son is mixed up in this thinks of this mess?
 

It is an interesting situation in the sense that the civil rights of these young black men have been violated by an extra-judicial disciplinary system purportedly enacted to protect the civil rights of another historically picked-upon group. Hopefully one good thing to come of this mess is a massive spotlight on what Title IX has transformed into. Unfortunately it comes at the expense of a team we all love to follow.

At least we don't have to worry about the weeks leading up the game being boring. This looks like it is going to get really ugly, no matter what the outcome ends up being. Obviously from a football standpoint if they don't get reinstated we are in major trouble considering who we are going up against. But this all goes well beyond football as well. If the Title IX group is truly going way above and beyond anything reasonable I hope Hutton and the other lawyers for the players are able to blow the whole thing up and expose it.
 



I have 2 years of eligibility left...I could at least grab and PI as well as Ayinde. On top of the Fossil Watch and New Era Cap- I only require Unlimited Fish Tacos. On top of that- I promise I won't Tweet or watch other players bang.
