Do the recent win's count towards coach Kill's overall record?

My friend asked me today if the last 3 win's will count towards Coach Kill's overall record as UMN Head coach and his overall record as a head coach, even if he isn't the coach? Does anybody know? A good question for the Sports Huddle for sure.
 

I believe this came up in the papers in the last few days, and the answer is they go to Kill - not Claeys, and Claeys said he is delighted for Jerry to have them.
 

That's an interesting question. On one of the networks, an announcer cited Claeys' record of 3-1.
