Congrats on the Trophy win and beating Iowa! I didn't get a chance to watch the game, did the fans rush the field? I hope Horton was carried around on the players shoulders, that guy rocks.

Congrats. I'm sure the off season will feel a little bit better ending the year with a victory over a pretty good Iowa team.

It wasn't really a rush of the field, but the students got on the field to celebrate with the players which was great!

It was funny to watch the security guard try to stop a guy by trying to trip him as he was going by him.

What was ridiculous was when the mob was with the players and Floyd down on the student end, and security was chasing guys who tried to join them from the other end. One person was grabbed and swung around. Not sure if they finally clued in and let those fans join the celebration.

What was the most ridiculous was Iowa calling a timeout with 34 seconds remaining after the team had already rushed over to grab floyd, that an the sweet fight in our section between drunken Iowa gomers and gophernation!

Maybe this is just another example of how Ferentz is just clueless at the end of a close game.

Security guards were tackling people on the closed end trying to keep them off the field, while there were 100's of fans walking down the stairs on the other end. I guess they don't have a lot of experience on how to handle these situations. It was the most fun I have had at a Gopher game in YEARS! I loved every freezing second of it.

I went onto the field from my section and followed floyd to the other end. Ran into MarQueis, Theret, Ellestad and Kirksey. Chanted WHO HATES IOWA for a few minutes. Have not have had that much fun at a gopher game since December of 03' after the Gophers beat Oregon in El Paso.

Haha, that's great. I love the idea of the guards tripping and decking people trying to keep them off the field, while hundreds more pour out by the minute. Even better that it was against Iowa. Congrats on the win.
