McCormick is your typical announcer fool. He spent the better part of the first half of the year calling Michigan State one of the country's most dominant teams and was bragging about how they had a great shot at making a run at the national title.
Then he drooled over how great Manny Harris and DeShawn Sims were because they go to Michigan. And now, he talks all night about how competitive the game was between the two teams, but then talks about Illinois "dominating" after the fact because they pulled away in the last five minutes.
He's just like all the ESPN talking heads: Looking for a good sound bite, not really caring about accuracy.
