per Vitale:

SOUTH: Minnesota Golden Gophers
The Golden Gophers went 3-7 in their last 10 games, leading to an 11th seed. That said, they are actually favored against a UCLA team that will miss guard Jordan Adams (broken bone in foot). Trevor Mbakwe is an inside force. Rodney Williams is very athletic along the baseline. Austin Hollins and Andre Hollins (no relation) are solid on the perimeter. Tubby Smith's team is looking for redemption. Minnesota showed its ability when it beat Indiana.

Go Gophers!!

Props to Dickie V for knowing the Hollins bros aren't related.

What a lot of people do not understand is the fact that our Gophers can be very dangerous in the Dance. And yet again, we may be wall flowers. It all depends on what happens on the floor. Turn them loose Tubby. Turn them loose.

Just how "deep" is deep? If we defeat UCLA, we face Florida and I'm not liking our chances in that game.

Dickie V is a smart guy...he gets it! Ski-U-Mah!
