According to the blog from Marcus Fuller-

Canadian doctors diagnosed junior guard Devoe Joseph with a strained quadriceps while he was playing for the Canada men's development team. He only played one game on the European tour and struggled. I've heard that his injury could be more serious and different than first thought, possibly a pre-existing knee injury that grew worse since the end of last season.

Joseph will likely miss the Canada trip, which is a shame since he's returning to his native country. But that is the least of the Gophers' worries. If he needs further medical attention, then will he be 100 percent healthy when camp begins in October?

As long as he's 100% when the season starts, I won't worry too much. But this is definitely concerning, we need him healthy this year.

Losing Devoe for an extended amount of time would hurt. Sounds like something that should be healed completely before putting him back out there. I'd much rather he be 100% for the Big Ten season than have it nag all year.

If it's still a concern on Oct. 15, then I'll be a little worried. Until then, it's just an off-season injury. Would much rather have these things crop up in the offseason than during the season.
