I love Devoe and his "show", where he steps back after setting up the defender and nails a bit of a fade away jumper. Great move. He doenst blow by people but he has a great stroke, and he has smarts.

If he can consistently hit those like he has lately, I have no problem with him doing it. Just having another scoring threat with that ability away from the basket will really help. Devoe has really impressed me the last half of the season here.

He has shown ability (on occassion) to sneak by his man and drive to the hoop for an easy layup. I think the dual threat is definately part of his game moving forward.

He seems to be gaining a lot of confidence, I've really liked seeing that. I think he never really got into the rhythm of the game early in the season, struggled, and tried to do to much. He seems much more comfortable now.

I still see him as a 2 guard, but I think his time playing point will really help his game in the long run. Obviously I wish we had never lost Nolen, but there has been a little silver lining.

I prefer Devoe "fo'sho" Joseph. Haha.

That being said, I'm very, very excited for next year to see what he can bring. I've seen so much progress out of him the last several weeks since Nolen went out, and it's only going to make next year's squad all the more entertaining.

I too, like what Devoe has done. He seems much more relaxed handling the ball. I would assume he is going up against Nolen ( I thought I read he was still practicing with the team ) in practice every day and that can't be a bad thing for learning to take care of the ball.
