Devlon Simmons a four star DT out of McKeesport Pa was released from his letter of intent by UNC. I wonder if Coach Kill has any contacts there? I doubt there's much of a chance, but assuming no issues. it's worth a shot.

Delvon Simmons, I make typos all the time too. This is not meant as a rip, but in case anyone is trying to search for him.

I don't think there has been any "interest" (to use the recruiting vernacular) previously regarding the Gophers, but he did have a visit to the Sweat Lodge to the south of us.

This is a very strange case. He took all 5 of his official visits but none of them were to North Carolina. In one of the articles stating that he was asking for his release stated that he picked UNC over USC (visit) and Texas Tech (also no official visit).

My guess is that Coach Kill will be staying away from this one.

What can I say it was late. I think that this might be the type of recruit that goes to JC for a year. After he gets his head on straight maybe another Lackawana recruit? That's the way I would approch it ,spend a year get to know the kid, and do it the right way.
