per the Free Press:

Kill admitted it wasn’t easy to step down this season.

“With my background, I wasn’t going to cheat the school or the team and I felt that was happening because of my health situation,” Kill said. “But I’ve always put a band-aid on it and kept going. This gives me time, three to six months, to get it straightened out and see the people I need to see, do the things I need to do. I’m feeling much better. It’s a process. I’m getting better and feel better.”

Kill said he’s not sure what is next for him, but he’s currently writing a book.

“Saginaw Valley will be in the book a little bit,” Kill said. “I’ve got several options. I just don’t know what I want to do and I want to take my time making those decisions.”

If it is like Tony Dungey's book I'm in.
