per Doogie's tweets:

"Kill contract incentives: $150,000 for Big Ten title. $100,000 for Big Ten div. title. $50,000 for 5 Big Ten wins, $25,000 for each add. win"

"$100,000 for Citrus or Outback Bowl appearance... $150,000 for National Title game... graduation success bonuses, & more."

Go Gophers!!

This is like when Daunte Culpepper had incentives in his contract that paid him $1.5M if he participated in 80% of the team's special teams plays

Really? I don't think I ever heard that. Too funny.

That was part of Brzezinski's strategy to shift cap space to other years. Basically they'd set up unattainable incentives which would take up cap space in one year, then when the player failed to reach them it would push that cap space to the next year. Dude is super creative on the cap side.

I hope they take the money they were going to spend on a 'big name' and invest it back in to the program. We probably need to fix up the weight room or perhaps hire some additional support staff. Speaking of what this program needs, does anyone know what kinds of tangible items or staff people the team is lacking?

That is good. I'm not a big NFL fan anymore but I did hear something recently about how each team has a "cap-ologist" to help with these issues. Interesting stuff.

doesn't he have to make the doughnuts at night too?
