Destiny Pitts wins freshman of the week for the sixth time

Destiny Pitts was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week today for the sixth time this season. Only Amanda Zahui B, with seven in the 2013-2014 season, has won more. Rachel Banham won it five times in the 2011-2012 season.

Am I correct in thinking she'll be BIG Freshman of the Year or am I missing someone?

And, she has now been awarded the US Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) Freshman of the Week award. She is the first Gophers to win this award in the four years this award has been around. Got to believe she's the hands down favorite for Big Ten Freshman of the Year.
